As an art teacher, I’ve had many colleagues approach me asking how they can incorporate art into the curriculum they teach.  Art can be a great way to reinforce objectives taught in core subjects and helps visual and kinesthetic learners to retain content.  This site was developed to provide core teachers with tangible, practical and inspiring art projects that are relevant to the curriculum they are teaching in their classroom.

  1. Thanks for the great flower parts lesson! I’m wondering what kinds of pins you’re referring to when you suggest to label the parts of the flower with “pins.”

    • I was thinking a ball head straight pin (sewing pin), but really paper clips or Post-it Tabs would work well too!
